You're sitting around, scratching your head and wondering , "What's wrong with me? Why her and not me? What am I - some kind of Ugly Betty? Why can't I seem to get a guy to save my life while that girl is walking hand in hand with him?" I don't know how to answer that question because I don't know you.
If you wouldn't love you, who would?
Self love. That's the crucial first step to identifying the character of you. I call it defining your personal truth - it's what you say to yourself when no one is looking. They'll figure, "God, she knows herself better than anyone else and if she thinks she's worthless and who am I to argue?" Or maybe you'll find some loser who doesn't care who he's with or who you are, just as long as he's got somebody or anybody. That'snot what you want either. You deserve better! You've to trust me - there's a world of difference between being with the one and being with someone. Don't be silly, acting as if you'll take whatever you can get because beggars can't be choosers then you're destined to wind up with the scraps. Wake up, you're not a beggars!
Some of you might have a bad history with some bad guys. Maybe you've been dumped or left standing at the altar. Whether you ever form a relationship with someone else or not, the most important relationship you'll ever have is the one with yourself. So, get help! If it's not for the sake of a healthy relationship, then for the sake of creating your own peace and joy in this life.
Who are you? Don't ignore this question. Give it some real thought and answer, who are you?
"Who are you?" is a question that leads to another question : "What do you mean? Do you want my name? My age? My religion? My gender? My occupation? So many of us despise this question. I know some of you don't even like writing about yourself or talking about yourself (just like me!).
You've to know who you are and forget about everything else. This is all starts by you accepting that you are who you are but that doesn't mean you shouldn't improve yourself! This is not an excuse to be lazy! If you're overweight, jack it up and lose weight - not only for the sake of your appearance but for your health, energy and self esteem! As for those qualities you can't change like your height, your upbringing and your background, it's time to accept it and don't look back!
"Everybody, including you has a certain constellation of traits and characteristics that, once identified and displayed, creates a power you cannot begin to imagine."
On the whole, people who've never taken the pains to identify their character and define their product don't think that highly of themselves. They want to blend in instead of stand out, because if they blend in, people won't notice them to make fun of them or criticize them. You don't have to go along to get along. All you've to be is genuine. Trust me, there's someone out there who wants you precisely for who you are and what you've to offer. You just have to figure it out first.
