Break Up in a Healthy Way.

0

I've been asked by many about how to end relationship properly. Well, relationships doesn’t always work out and it would be best to end things properly. Maybe you’re trying to analyze what happened after it ends or maybe you remained friends with someone after a break up and still question why the relationship ended. Whatever the problem is, the opportunity for a romantic relationship is no longer there!

But is it healthy?

1. THEY WERE no emotional feelings

Sometimes people really are overwhelmed by their emotions to the point of not accepting a new relationship. Think of times in your life when you have been too busy, felt depressed or unaccomplished or had just left a relationship. There was probably a time you did not want to enter another one. But, listen here. If you had met someone special, someone you could see a future with during that time, would you have given them a chance? Emotionally unavailability does happen, but most people will suddenly become available when there is a person they want to be with. If he put in no effort into your relationship and the next girl gets a ton of attention, be happy you got away. He would never have changed for you so leave him!

2. IT’S NOT about YOU, IT’S about ME!

When you over analyze a previous relationship it can become very one-sided. You, after all, only have access to your own memories and your own beliefs. People are naturally, and healthily, narcissistic in this way. You,caused problems in the relationship. So did that jerk who dumped you! Does it matter who caused more? The fact is that you and he did not work together as a pair!

3. If IT’S MEANT TO BE, IT WILL BE.

I've used this saying for family and friends and it has been said by family and friends to me as well. In and of itself, this is not bad advice. Really! It's true, if your relationship is meant to be, it would have lasted or it will happen in the future. The problem is if you are not over the relationship, this saying can be a sign of hope. A desperate mind can twist the phrase into meaning you and your ex are destined to be together in the future, which can make it harder for you to move on and even turn into a full on obsession!

Remember sweetie, we can be disappointed and hurt then, through time, we can learn how to feel and love again. I hope you can still see the love inside you and other people too.

To The Best Friend Who Changed

0

When someone is best friends, we usually assume that they always will be. I mean, how could things ever change? Our best friend is our shoulder to cry on after a rough day, the first person we call when we broke up with our boyfriend, someone we share our best and worst life experiences with. Sure, everyone knows that "people change" but we usually figure that our best friendship won't — that our friendship can survive anything because our special bond is impossible to break! But sometimes, we come to the painful realization that we've grown apart from a best friend. Neither of you have come to dislike the other, or done anything "wrong" & you just don't click the way you used to. One or both of you've changed & you've evolved in ways that have left the two of you incompatible as best friends. It's certainly not an easy realization, but we owe it to ourselves & each other to respectfully acknowledge when a friendship has run its course. It doesn't mean we no longer love or care about each other, but it's a hint that we shouldn't force a close relationship that's just not working the way that it used to — because doing so will ultimately disappoint us and burns away our happy memories together.

Psychologist says there are few ways to know when you & your best friend has grown apart :
1) You've constant misunderstandingsRemember when you &your BFF used to basically have your own language, filled with countless jokes? Your conversations often made zero sense to anyone else, because you two were on a wavelength of your very own. Now, not only has that aspect of your friendship faded away, but you constantly find yourself having misunderstandings about your best friend that range from minor to major. Although occasional conflict is unavoidable in any friendship, you find yourself frustrated by unnecessary arguments that stem from the fact that you just don't really "get" each other the way you used to. There may be hurt feelings on both sides of the friendship because you keep misconstruing each other's actions & words — simply because you're not in tune with each other any longer.
2) You go weeks without talking and it doesn't bother youWhen we're young or in school, lots of best friends see each other all the time & basically assume that they'll hang out every weekend. As life develops & best friends move or have to shoulder more life responsibilities, they often can't hang out as often as they used to — but they still make staying in touch a priority, religiously scheduling movie dates, calling each other often and always knowing what's going on in each other's lives. However, if there's a significant change in the frequency of your contacts with your BFF & if you don't notice it immediately, it's a sign that you & your BFF are growing apart — especially if you don't really feel upset when you realize you haven't spoken for weeks.
3) You don't feel comfortable with them anymoreYou used to have no filter around your best friend and there was no such thing as an awkward silence, because you were so comfortable with one another, you never felt like every moment had to be filled with conversation. You may or may not be able to put your finger on exactly when or why it happened, but now, you just don't feel comfortable with your best friend the way you used to. When you do hang out, you find yourself nervous about what to say and worry about being judged, as though you're hanging out with a stranger, rather than someone who was once your closest confidante. You find yourself making pointless small talk because the silence is awkward and you can't seem to find anything meaningful to discuss. You may start to feel anxious before you see them, because it has become so uncomfortable & awkward. If this is happening, it's a very strong sign that you should take a step back & think about how your friendship is functioning.
4) You've nothing in common anymorePlenty of friends have different interests & priorities — but I'm talking about when you have literally nothing in common to discuss & there seem to be no activities that you can enjoy together anymore. Your paths, priorities & interests have diverged so wildly that you can't find any common ground. It feels impossible to plan a fun day or weekend because you don't have any overlapping hobbies & you can't even have a lively debate about current events because you don't care about the same things. When you're in such different places in your lives that neither of you really understands what the other is going through & you consistently find yourself at a loss over what to say to your friend, it's a very strong sign that you're growing apart!

I think I need to shield off any new friendships I made. I need to build bricks up against my heart because of the hurt, heartbreak and abandonment I felt when people left. When you are vulnerable, you get hurt. You allow people to step repeatedly over your heart. I always have been a vulnerable person because, I give 110% into every relationship and friendship I am in. After this experience I had, I wished to turn off all my emotions. I've also learned getting hurt sucks and love sucks. I rather feel emotions then feel numb all the time. Feeling hurt is a sign of passion and strength. I am happy I am capable of feeling emotions because, most people are not.

Love Yourself

0

Hi there! It's been a while since the last time I updated. I miss writing and blogging so much but I'm super busy (like...seriously!) I just finised my studies about 3-4 months ago and currently, I'm doing nothing. I spent my time eating, sleeping, watching kdramas and reading novels. I gained 2 kgs and I'm getting chubbier than ever. I'm in dilemma too. I wanted to take a break and get a part-time job but my family especially my mom and her sisters (my aunts of course) want me to further my studies. I don't know! I'm not interested in physiotherapy anymore and I've no idea what to do! Any ways, let's forget about that for a while.

"How do you heal yourself?" they asked. Well, I'm not a healer but one thing I know is the only thing that heals every problem is to know how to love yourself

People need to start to love themselves more each day so that they will feel better. Then they will get the jobs they want, they will have the money they need, their relationships will improve and they will enjoy their lives. It’s a very simple act—loving yourself. They said I'm being too simplistic but they can't deny what I said. Many of us hide from ourselves and we don’t even know who we are. We don’t know what we feel, we don’t know what we want. To be honest, it's not selfish to love ourselves. It clears us so that we can love ourselves enough to love other people.

To me, love is a deep appreciation. When I talk about loving ourselves, I mean having a deep appreciation for who we are. We accept all the different parts of ourselves— our curves, our flaws, our insecurities and our beautiful qualities too. Unfortunately, many of us will not love ourselves until we get prettier or lose weight, get a boyfriend or whatever that satisfies us. We often put conditions on our love. No sweetie, no! We can change our mindset. We can love ourselves as we are right now!

Remember this If you're not willing to love yourself today, then you're not going to love yourself tomorrow, because whatever excuse you have today, you’ll still have them tomorrow. Maybe you’ll have the same excuse 5, 10 or even 20 years from now and even leave your lifetime holding on to the same excuse! So sweetie, no more excuses! Love is something we can choose, the same way we choose anger or hate or sadness. We can choose to forgive someone who has hurt us, move on and begin to heal. We can choose to be grateful for what we have and live our life to the fullest. We can choose love and spread it around us. There's always a choice. The choice is in your hands.

Make today the day you can love yourself totally with no expectations!

Walk Down Memory Lane

“The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It's the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared.”

It's been soooooooooooo long since the last time I've updated my post! I'm super duper busy because I've just completed my 2nd & 3rd Clinical Posting (CP) and I've just started my 4th CP. This is not just my 4th CP but this will be the last CP before I finally graduated my Diploma in Physiotherapy!

My 2nd CP was in DEMC Shah Alam. It was a 2-month-posting and it was fun! I had gain quite an experience there and I did not regret at all! I've learn how to handle Neuro patients as well as Pediatric patients. I learn how to do suctioning for a 1-week-old baby while he's still in the incubator! I've experienced doing on-call shift for 4 times and it was fun!

My 3rd CP was in NASAM Malacca. It was short 6-weeks-posting and I gotta admit that this CP was the best so far! From our HOd, Miss Sundari to our patients, they were the best! There's no word to describe it but I love them! Here are some of the pictures that were taken back when we're together.

Trip to Kuantan on 21-22 April 2017.

Last outing at Pantai Puteri on 27 April 2017.

Farewell party on 28 April 2017.

I don't want to say goodbyes because this might be our temporary leave. Till we meet again, loves!

Happiness

0

"Always choose happiness over everything."

Surround yourself only with those who brings that out of you every day.

Do things not because you want to impress the society but because you want to be a living inspiration to those who're scared to see all the things around them.

Wake up and go out not because you want to have fun but because the world is beautiful that it keeps on waiting for you to explore.

Look at yourself in the mirror and do not complaint anything. You're beautiful just the way you are. If you keep on telling that you're ugly or there's something on your face that needs to be fixed, then you're not going to be grateful for what you have.

Be happy! No one is perfect! Beside, there's nothing interesting about being perfect.

*P/s: It's been 2 weeks since the last time I posted a thread here. I've been busy with final exam and now it's over! I'm supposed to begin my 2nd Clinical Posting at HAT Mizan last Monday but bs happened and I'm on my 'sudden' break right now. I'll be posting 'again' at DEMC next week. I hope no one will ask what's happening or whatsoever cause I'm not in the mood! After all what happened at there, I'll never ever ever go there anymore! I'm willing to be posted far away from here than have to go there again!

Happy birthday!
You're getting 1 year older but you're still the same 13-year-old Jannah whom I used to know 9 years ago except that you're getting prettier day by day! I still remember the day we met! Oh no! I still remember how we get close to each other cause i don't even remember the day we met! *LMAO* Ah wait! I'm not going to reminiscing back the memories of old days. I just want to give you a birthday wishes!

I'm so honoured and blessed to be a part of your life. To be able to watch you grow into a pretty strong woman is all I ask for and i hope we can continue this amazing friendship we have! I love you and I hope whatever obstacle you're going through, you will overcome that. I pray that Allah continues to shower you with his love and blessings. I know that we don't talk often but I really do feel love surrounds us and that plays a major part why I believe that our friendship will last long! Enjoy your day! I love you and I hope this makes you happy!

I'm Fine...

0

I was hurt so I built a wall around my heart to protect myself. Every night, I feel the aching pain because i choose to be alone. I'm afraid to move on. I'm afraid to do things that can remind me of the things that hurts me. I'm afraid to listened to my favorite songs because every songs reminds me of the past. I'm barely able to adjust myself to the world because I thought the world was being unfair to me.

Soon I realized, my life won't just stop just because I feel like I'm the only person being hurt.. I learnt to get used to the pain and live myself again like I'm doing before I experienced the pain. I learnt that it's okay to cry but don't make it last for a lifetime because you probably hate having a swollen eyes. I learnt not to dwell on the past because I don't live there anymore. I learnt to forgive myself and accept everything because sometimes you're at fault too. I learnt that it's okay to rest for a while because life is not a race nor a game. I learnt to look on a brighter side and always get ready because greater things will come to my way and now I can say that...

I'm fine.

W.
